We discussed the current political tension in the US and red herrings happening at the moment. We continued one more exercise on the AI fraud industry worksheet together. I left hime another exercise for homework.

We worked on the AI Fraud worksheet identifying specific vocabulary words in each paragraph of different circumstances and accounts in the article. New Vocabulary: fraudster, straightaway, reassuring, lifeline, to fund, to ease doubts etc.

We continued the fraud AI worksheet and had the discussion of whether or not the software creators of AI should be held responsible for someone using the software as a weapon for scamming etc and the comparison to other machines used in the world as weapons- Human mal intent

Roberto was 10 minutes late to class. We completed the daily Wordle and then did a note taking activity where I read him a story about a dog that traveled across Europe while he took notes. I then asked him 25 multiple choice comprehension questions on the text he heard. He scored 23 of 25. This was at the B2 level.
