Roberto was on-time for this class. We completed the daily Wordle and then worked through and created sentences for List 3 of the Similes. These included - as cunning as a fox, as dead as a doornail, as deaf as a post, as different as chalk from cheese, as dry as a bone, as dry as dust, as dull as dishwater, as easy as A.B.C and as flat as a pancake. We then tried ti integrate the 3 lists of similes to answer questions, but Roberto found this very difficult.

Roberto made a time change within 24 hours from 12pm to 9am the same day. He anticipated to have a later class, but then requested to move it back again after a few days to the earlier time.

Roberto was on-time today. We discussed his trip to Spain and his upcoming plans iver the Spanish summer. We also discussed my trip to Australia in November and started working through and creating sentences for List 2 of the similes, which included - as bright as a new pin, as busy as a beaver, as busy as a bee, as busy as a cat on a hot tin roof, as clear as a bell, as clean as a whistle, as clear as crystal, as clear as mud, as cold as ice, as common as dirt and as cool as a cucumber.

Roberto was 17 minutes late to the class. We started with the daily Wordle and then worked through List 1 of 8 of some similes I prepared. I explained the concept of similes as he had never heard of them before and then we created sentences for the following - like two peas in a pod, as bald as a coot, as big as an elephant, as black as coal, as black as pitch, as blind as a bat, as bold as brass, as brave as a lion and as bright as a button.

Roberto was 15 minutes late to the class. Following his arrival, Roberto experienced some complications with his computer and had to resolve the issue for a meeting that followed the class, so he had to cancel the class in that moment.

Roberto arrived 16 minutes late to the class. We started by completing the daily Wordle and then worked through a grammar activity and part of a reading task for the LH topic of Cow wows researchers. We didn't finish the reading.
